Ancelotti: A Very Special Night

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has reflected on his team’s performance during the Mallorca clash at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

“We started well, we controlled well, played well, alternated low and high intensity play. We were more aggressive up front, the Italian told Movistar, as per ESPN Deportes.

And he said: “We talked about it with the players and they understood it well.”

“A very special night,” Ancelotti then said. “I am very happy because all the players who don’t play a lot – like Asensio, Isco and Jovic have done well today.

“Real Madrid’s future is in safe hands with Valverde, Camavinga and Blanco, as well as the present is – with Modric, Kroos and Casemiro, they are very strong.”

Karim Benzema Finishes 200 Goals in La Liga

As Real Madrid took on Mallorca in La Liga 6th round at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, Karim Benzema made history.

Benzema added his name to the scoresheet twice and achieved an important milestone – two hundred goals in La Liga.

The France international is now ranked among ten league’s highest scorers. Meanwhile, Lionel Messi goes top of the list with 473 goals for Barcelona.

On top of that, Benzema has scored 8 goals and provided 7 more in just 6 appearances this season.
