Dominic Hyam has joined Blackburn Rovers from Coventry City for an undisclosed fee

Dominic Hyam has joined Blackburn Rovers from Coventry City for an undisclosed fee. The defender has signed a three-year contract.

He represented several clubs in England. Having across several divisions ranging from the second tier right up to the 6th tier.

The centre-back has also represented Scotland at the youth level.

The Riversiders announced: “Rovers are delighted to announce the arrival of defender Dominic Hyam, who joins from Coventry City for an undisclosed fee.

“The 26-year-old centre-back, who becomes Rovers’ fourth summer signing, has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal at Ewood Park through to June 2025.”

“I’ve learnt a lot in this league, you get punished if you slip up. Especially as a defender,” Dominic told RoversTV.

“The strikers in this division are so clinical, so good, you’ve got to be on your mettle.

“I want to push myself, I want to become a better player and I’m still relatively young in football terms, there’s a decent amount of improvement still in me.

“Thinking back to last season, there were a couple of 2-2 draws, good atmospheres. Lots of fans and two exciting games.”
