Yuzvendra Chahal’s quarantine in the United Arab Emirates has finished, and he has joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad ahead of the IPL 2021 second round. The 31-year-old was clearly overjoyed to be back, as he and Glenn Maxwell were greeted with a standing ovation by RCB coach Mike Hesson and others.
On Thursday, the franchise produced a video that caught all of Yuzvendra Chahal and Maxwell’s first training session moments. The pair can be seen joking around with one other, which should come as no surprise to anyone. Fans, on the other hand, wanted to know how the leg-spinner was feeling after a difficult few weeks in which he tested positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka before being cut from India’s selection for the 2021 T20 World Cup.
I’m pleased with how I bowled: Chahal
To everyone’s satisfaction, Chahal appeared to be in a really good state of mind heading into the rest of the IPL 2021 season. He remarked, “After a number of days in quarantine, I’m back on the cricket pitch.” “Obviously, the sensation was positive. The heat was manageable, and I was pleased with my performance. I’m delighted because we’re in a terrific spot in the points table and have a strong chance of remaining at the top. You always feel fantastic when you bowl well in the nets.”
The leg-recent spinner’s form has been poor, which is likely one of the reasons for his withdrawal from the Indian team for the mega tournament. Chahal, on the other hand, believed that things were finally falling into place for him and that he was resuming his normal routine. “I can say that the old Yuzi is back,” he continued, looking upbeat and assured.

Chahal will have a point to prove in the UAE
Yuzvendra Chahal will have a point to prove in the second round of the IPL 2021 after being omitted from the Indian squad for the forthcoming World Cup. In the first half of the season, the leg-spinner had a dismal performance, taking only four wickets in seven matches at an economy rate of 8.26. Chahal will be aiming for a miraculous turnaround in his form and fortunes as RCB look to capture their first IPL crown this season, with conditions in the UAE assisting spinners.
