Latest Cricket News: The countdown to IPL 2021’s second half has officially begun. While other teams are still finalising last-minute replacements and additions, Royal Challengers Bangalore has confirmed the players that will wear their jerseys in this year’s tournament’s UAE leg.

The franchise captioned a photo of the entire team, ” “Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to present our #ClassOf2021 for the second half of the #IPL2021. If you can’t wait to watch this team in action, leave a comment. #WeAreChallengers #PlayBold”

Take a peek at the entire team here:

Notably, the Virat Kohli-led team has made numerous significant changes to their squad for the IPL 2021 second leg. Tim David from Australia has replaced New Zealand’s Finn Allen, while Sri Lankan leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has replaced Australia’s Adam Zampa. Furthermore, Dushmantha Chameera of Sri Lanka has taken the place of Australia’s Daniel Sams. Recently, the team recruited English fast-bowling all-rounder George Garton to replace Kane Richardson, an Australian bowler.

“George Garton, a talented all-rounder from England, will join the RCB family for the remainder of the #IPL2021. He fulfils our season’s quota of international players “RCB sent out a tweet. To date, the left-arm fast has appeared in 38 T20s, taking 44 wickets at an average of 20.06.

Meanwhile, RCB captain Kohli is in the thick of an international series, with India down 1-0 at Headingley after winning the first match at Lord’s. On the first day of the third Test in England, the visiting team was bowled out for 78, and even the skipper’s personal form hasn’t been great.

To make matters worse, England’s openers were still together at the end of a bad day’s cricket from the Indian perspective, despite the Indians having established a 42-run lead with all wickets intact.

Following the conclusion of this five-match series, the second phase of the IPL 2021 will commence with a blockbuster encounter between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. The Royal Challengers Bangalore will start their season the next day against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
