Latest Cricket News: On Monday, the Indian team won another historic Test match at the Oval, defeating England by 157 runs. While India had been bowled out for 191 in the first innings, with many experts predicting that they would not be able to recover, the squad responded admirably to win the match comfortably on Day 5. The fact that it was their first triumph at the venue in 50 years added to the significance of the victory.
Following the victory, the entire squad and support staff erupted in joy. While the team’s reaction on the field was captured by the broadcasters, they afterwards had a lengthy celebration in the locker room, which the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) published on its official social media website.

The full video, which can be viewed on the BCCI’s official website, shows the players having a good time in the changing room after a comeback victory. There were not just post-match reactions from Player of the Match Rohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav, and Shardul Thakur, but also a few videos that showed how the squad celebrated and what the atmosphere was like in the dressing room.
The team will now travel to Manchester, England’s citadel for the fifth and final Test. Team India has yet to win a Test match at Old Trafford and had only managed draws and losses there in the past. Given the way they’ve been playing in the series and how they had broken through the citadel in the past, India believes that they can do it again at Old Trafford and finish the series on a high note.
India leads the series 2-1 and can’t afford to lose the remaining five matches. The home team will now be under pressure to get a result and tie the series.
