Latest Cricket News: The third day of the third Test has begun, and India’s fortunes have not been good thus far. After knocking England out for 432 runs, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul’s opening partnership robbed England’s bowlers of a wicket for the first time in a long time. With the clouds hovering above the head, the task was, as usual, a little difficult. James Anderson and Oliie Robinson were able to produce enough movement out of the pitch to cause some problems for the Indian openers, which Rahul choked on at the stroke of Lunch.
Robinson’s inswinging deliveries, in particular, posed a concern to KL Rahul. RSahul got hit on the pad three times and was even called out by the on-field umpire on the third occasion. He did, however, survive the LBW call thanks to a last-second review. Robinson got Rahul on the front foot for another inswinging ball that hit him on the front pad on the fourth delivery of the tenth over. The ball appeared to be finishing on the leg-stump-line, as seen by the naked eye.
Rahul was also convinced by the conclusion, as Richard Kettleborough raised his finger. Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, persuaded Rahul to take the DRS. The ball-tracking showed the ball missing the stumps by the tiniest of margins after Rahul signalled for it at the final second.

On Day 3, Shami and Bumrah stop England’s tail from wagging
The opening two days of the third Test were entirely dominated by England. After knocking India out for 78, the hosts added to India’s agony and extended their lead above 300 runs. Joe Root stood up for his team once more, scoring a brilliant 121 before being removed by Bumrah. The second day finished with a massive total for England.
However, India’s third morning began positively, with Shami and Bumrah cleaning up the tail in under 15 minutes. With a brilliant inswinger, Shami dismissed Craig Overton, who was looking excellent, and then Bumrah dismissed Ollie Robinson in the first over he bowled today. Shami took four wickets in the innings, the most among Indian pacers, while Bumrah was the most economical bowler for the visitors.
