IPL 2021: The present Indian Premier League season has created some amazing moments on the field, with players displaying incredible athleticism in recent days. The outfields in the UAE are green and quick, allowing players to throw themselves onto the field without fear of injury. On Thursday, another glimpse of the same was observed during match 44 between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Sharjah.
SRH were struggling at 115/6 in 18 overs while batting first and needed a few fast runs near the end. Shardul Thakur was bowling, and the onus was on Jason Holder to hit a few huge hits. Holder attempted to slug a full-wide delivery that was put way outside off after taking a double off the opening ball.
Chahar makes one of the season’s best running catches
Although the shot was forceful, the ball only struck the bottom half of Holder’s bat, preventing it from crossing the boundary. However, because it had sailed so far in the air, Deepak Chahar had an opportunity to try a probable catch. However, he had to do a lot of running with the ball that was much out of his reach!
Chahar ran towards the ball, kept his eyes on the ball, and timed his dive to perfection to complete a spectacular catch, as one would expect from this new generation of fit cricketers. The on-air pundits commended Chahar, as did Shardul Thakur, who praised his teammate’s outstanding effort at the boundary.

Although Rashid Khan cameoed near the finish, it was only enough to get SRH to 134/7 in 20 overs, a below-par total in Sharjah.
