Cricket News: India’s women’s squads for the one-off Test, ODI, and T20I series against Australia were released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday. The ODI series will begin on September 19 in Sydney, with two more games set for September 22 and 24 in Melbourne. Following the ODI series, India will play its first-ever day-night Test in Perth from September 30 to October 3. Three T20Is will be played in Sydney on October 7, 9, and 11 to round off the tour.
Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the visitors in the T20I series, while Mithali Raj will captain the historic day-night Test and ODI series.
The Indian team will fly to Australia on August 29 and will be quarantined for two weeks before the series begins on September 19. Renuka Singh Thakur and Yastika Bhatia, in particular, are newcomers to the T20I team.
