Cricket News: Syed Faridoun, a young Chinese bowler who debuted for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League on Sunday, received more attention for his bowling action than for himself. Despite the fact that Faridoun has bowled with the same old movement throughout his career, this was one of the first instances that the public noticed his unusual action.
The 20-year-run-up old’s and release were compared to South Africa’s Paul Adams and even Shivil Kaushik of the Gujarat Lions, who established a name for himself in the Indian Premier League before disappearing. Despite the fact that there was a lot of talk about the action, and he even had a decent start to his career, giving up only five runs in his first over, he eventually returned wicketless with 37 runs given in his four overs.
The Big Bash League’s official social media handle even released a tiny snippet of his action.
“This is a unique opportunity! Syed Faridoun, a Pakistani bowler, comes on to bowl #BBL11, with a really distinctive movement “The caption was added to the post.

Faridoun was discovered by talent scouts after sending a video of himself bowling to the Lahore Qalandars during the global battle against COVID-19, which resulted in lockdowns all over the world. While he had previously played in age-group cricket matches at the city level, he was not given a game in the Pakistan Super League season 5 or even the second part of the next season.
Haris Rauf and Dilbar Hussein, both from Pakistan, have previously played for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League. The Stars, on the other hand, did not have the best start to the competition, as they were humiliated in their first game.
The Stars won the toss, but that was it for them in the match, as the Sydney Sixers not only scored their best total at the Sydney Cricket Ground but also bundled out the opposition for 61 runs to hand the Stars a 152-run defeat.
