The cricketer broke the news in a tweet, writing, “I’d want to take this time to let everyone know that I’m leaving the Andhra Cricket Association on good terms. For the past five years, I’ve had the honour of captaining and representing Andhra Pradesh. The cricketer did not leave any questions unanswered following his exit from the Andhra Pradesh team. He declared that he will continue to play domestic cricket in the following season and will be a member of the Hyderabad Cricket Association.

Vihari’s tweet is as follows:

In the 2016-17 season, Hanuma Vihari had decided to shift his base to Andhra where he spent five glorious years. He scored his first triple century against Odisha in the 2017-18 season, where he had finished as the highest run-scorer for Andhra with 752 runs in 6 matches.

Vihari debuted in the first division ten years ago

Hanuma Vihari has been one of India’s most reliable red-ball players during the last ten years. The right-handed batsman made his first-class debut for Hyderabad against Jharkhand during the 2011-12 season. It didn’t take long for the teenager to make an impression, as he scored 81 runs off 150 balls against Madhya Pradesh.

The following season, the right-handed batsman made headlines when he scored 191 runs against a powerful Mumbai side, signalling his presence on the Indian domestic circuit. Vihari has been one of the most consistent performers since then, noted for his powerful knocks.

Vihari had decided to relocate his base to Andhra Pradesh for the 2016-17 season, where he had spent five beautiful years. In the 2017-18 season, he achieved his first triple century against Odisha, after finishing as Andhra’s leading run-scorer with 752 runs in six matches.

In his entire FC career, Vihari has appeared in 93 games and scored 7194 runs at an outstanding average of 54.91. Vihari’s return to Hyderabad could prove to be a significant addition for the club ahead of the new domestic season, especially with so much experience in the longest format of the game.
