Money Kicks, the social media influencer with whom Floyd Mayweather is due to battle, has warned him, “I am not afraid of any human being.”
Mayweather is in talks to return to the ring next month, just days before his 45th birthday, to fight a 25-year-younger internet star.
Rashed Belhasa, often known as ‘Money Kicks,’ is a YouTuber and influencer located in Dubai who is known for displaying his opulent lifestyle.
He told Sky Sports that talks to face Floyd Mayweather are in the “final stages” and that they will fight for eight rounds on the helipad at Dubai’s Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel.
“I grew up with lions – I am not afraid of any human,” Money Kicks remarked.
“I’ll never be afraid of a person.”
Last week, Mayweather previewed this bout by saying, “Money Kicks is doing great things, and I like what I’m seeing.”
Money Kicks has now revealed how their unexpected match-up came to be: “I never anticipated I’d fight Floyd,” he says. He is the greatest fighter of all time. I used to collect his ‘The Money Team’ caps when I was a kid!
“Mayweather’s team requested a meeting with my team. ‘There’s no way this is going to happen!’ we thought.
“I witnessed Mayweather say the same day of the meeting, ‘I would love to fight Rashed.’
“He’s dead serious.”
“It is a privilege that he has singled me out.
“I thought to myself, ‘This is going to become viral!'”
Money Kicks, who is 20 years old, was inspired by KSI and Logan Paul’s bout, which was a watershed event for YouTuber boxing.
Since then, he has hosted two boxing tournaments in Dubai, starring in both and winning both.
“Mayweather is too fast – I need to be close and just go crazy on him!” he remarked of how he plans to approach his next fight.
“I’m not going to lie to myself.” It’s an honour to be in the ring alongside him. I’ll give it my all.
“Any punch can land, and I have heavy hands, so you never know.”
“What if he dismisses me?” A punch could be delivered. Anything can happen at any time.
“I’m a lot taller than he is.”
“I’m making progress.” Every day, I’m learning something new. I’m still young, but I’m improving all the time.”
Mayweather has re-entered the ring for exhibition bouts since retiring in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record.
He defeated Tenshin Nasukawa and fought Logan Paul for eight rounds earlier this year.
Money Kicks stated, “Logan created history.” “Their struggle was the talk of the world.”
“He’s already offered me advice on how to beat Mayweather,” says the narrator.
“He instructed me to flinch and move a lot since Mayweather is a fast and experienced fighter.”
“I wouldn’t sleep for a year if I knocked him out!”
Money Kicks plans to continue his fighting career after Mayweather’s fight next month.
