Dillian Whyte insisted that Russian Alexander Povetkin knows what’s coming after the pair were involved in an intense stare-off before their bout this Saturday. Whyte suffered a shocking knockout loss against the Russian last summer but Whyte has insisted that the Russian is aware that this is gonna be much tougher.
“He’s quite relaxed, trying not to show a lot of emotions but I can see,” Whyte said. “We’re fighters, we know. We’ve shared the ring before.”
“He knows. He says that he knows that I’m going to be much better this time around. We’ll see.” he added. “I’ve been fighting top guys for the last six years. It’s like a game of dice. You roll the dice, you don’t know what number it’s going to land on.”
Whyte’s first professional loss was against Anthony Joshua which then led to the most successful part of his career.
