Boxing News: After extending his unbeaten boxing career, Jake Paul has taken on the UFC’s finest competitors, including Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

In their rematch on Saturday night, the YouTuber-turned-boxer landed his finest knockout yet, sending ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley to the ground in the sixth round.

He is undefeated in five fights and hopes to return in the second half of 2022 against even tougher competition after taking a vacation.

By naming McGregor, Diaz, Kamaru Usman, and Jorge Masvidal, Paul delivered a warning to UFC president Dana White.

“I’m going to embarrass them as well,” he remarked. “I swear to you,” says the narrator.

Paul’s latest victory drew Diaz and Masvidal to the ring.

Regarding his future, Paul stated: “People ought to be terrified. There is no one who is safe. Everyone is on the edge of their seats.

“Trying to set a limit on where this could go is terrifying.

“The possibilities are endless. How hard I work is entirely up to me and my team. I’m fired up.

“This is enormous after only two years as a professional. As I progress, I’d like to face more difficult opponents.

“Maybe I’ll go for the world title when the time comes.

“Nobody in boxing history has ever done what I’ve done at this age: four major contests in 13 months.

“Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is the only one who is as active as I am.

“I’ve defeated every opponent I’ve faced. I made all of them into memes!

“I’m willing to fight anyone, whether it’s a professional boxer or a UFC champion.”

Prior to his Saturday night fight, Paul mentioned Canelo and even his own brother Logan Paul as potential opponents.

He did, however, close the door on ever confronting Tommy Fury.

The WBC heavyweight champion’s younger brother was slated to fight Paul, but withdrew due to “a nasty chest illness and damaged ribs” and was replaced by Woodley at short notice.

“Tommy Fury is glad he wasn’t in there,” Paul remarked, “because Tyron is considerably tougher.”

“Tommy would have looked a whole lot worse.”

Paul had a nasty cut as a result of an unintentional elbow, but he said: “It doesn’t bother me in the least. I’ve had to deal with a lot worse throughout my life. I like it because it makes me look like a fighter!”

Woodley, who was knocked out on Saturday night after losing his first fight to Paul by split decision, said: “I never questioned his authority. I have to treat his name with respect.”
