Boxing Live Score: Inside the boxing arena, Jorge Masvidal told Jake Paul, “You can’t afford me,” and he was challenged to enter the UFC.
On Saturday night, the YouTuber-turned-boxer knocked out Tyron Woodley, an ex-UFC champion.
He then identified Masvidal, Conor 432McGregor, Nate Diaz, and Kamaru Usman as possible future opponents in the UFC.
Masvidal retaliated: “You simply cannot afford me. What were the names you mentioned? You simply cannot afford it.
“I know how much you have to pay.
“You speak a big game about $50 million here and $50 million there. Floyd Mayweather would have taken a fight with you if that was the case. He hasn’t, however.
“You don’t bring in that kind of money. You give away seats for free!
“I’m afraid you can’t afford for me to come over.
“Let me tell you something about myself: I either fight for money or against the finest in the world. You are none of these things.
“Come on over to UFC,” says the narrator. Make a one-fight contract. In front of the entire world, I will break your jaw.
“It’s here if you want it.”
Masvidal and Diaz were on hand to see Paul’s most recent victory in the ring.
“I will embarrass them, too,” Paul stated of his potential UFC opponents. “I assure you of that.”
“People should be afraid,” Paul remarked of his future. There is no one who is safe. Everyone is on the edge of their seats.
“Trying to put a limit on where this could go is terrifying.”
“The possibilities are endless.” How hard I work is entirely up to me and my team. I’m fired up.
“This is incredible after only two years as a professional.” As I progress, I’d like to face more difficult opponents.
“Perhaps I’ll go for the world title when the time is perfect.”
Paul has won all five of his professional boxing bouts.
He has previously identified Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and his own brother Logan Paul as potential future opponents.
