Boxing Fight: “I’m already thinking about the next opponent when I’m confident in my abilities. Why do you suppose this guy is currently seated behind me?” Jake Paul has announced that he will fight Tommy Fury in a rematch shortly.
Tommy Fury reacted angrily to Jake Paul’s admission that he plans to resolve his heated feud with the British contender in his next fight, which enraged the YouTuber.
When he fights Tyron Woodley, a former UFC champion, in Cleveland on Sunday, the social media sensation hopes to extend his unbeaten professional boxing record to four wins.
However, Paul was joined on stage by Fury, who is fighting Anthony Taylor this weekend on the undercard, and the two quickly rekindled their feud.
Fury had persisted in focusing his attention on Taylor, saying: “Jake Paul isn’t the first person who comes to mind.
“I haven’t given him a second thought. I don’t give him a second thought.
“Anthony Taylor is the only player I’ve thought about and have been thinking about throughout this training camp.
“I’ll finish the job on Sunday night, and we’ll talk about whatever else comes up after that.
“Until then, this guy is going to get knocked out.”
Paul, on the other hand, answered by disclosing that he fully expects to schedule a future battle with Fury, who has yet to lose in six fights.
“No, I’m already thinking about the next opponent when I know what’s going to happen when I’m sure in my ability,” he added.
“Can you tell me why you think this guy is seated behind me now?”
Fury retaliated at Paul by saying, “Your turn is approaching, pal. Don’t say anything about me with that filthy mouth of yours.”
Then Paul responded: “It’s simple when you know what’s going to happen. This is a simple sport.”
