Boxing Fight: Artur Beterbiev has pledged to prove that he is “the best,” and his most recent thrashing victory could land him in a fight with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.

By knocking out Marcus Browne on Friday night, Beterbiev retained his merciless record as boxing’s solitary world champion with a perfect knockout record.

To keep his IBF and WBC light-heavyweight belts, he had to endure a devastating cut that prompted the referee to stop the bout.

In terms of his future, he stated, “We are ready for any fight.”

“We’re ready for the best – you have to defeat the best to be the greatest.”

“I’m in good spirits.” We were victorious in the battle.

“This gash is just another occurrence in my professional life.”

“It’s boxing, so you never know what’s going to happen.”

Beterbiev is one of the options for boxing’s pound-for-pound champion Canelo Alvarez, who has options for his next opponent that span weight categories.

Canelo is a four-weight world champion and the undisputed super-middleweight champion following an incredible 11-month run in which he ended the unbeaten records of three incumbent champions.

The WBC has given him permission to challenge cruiserweight champion Ilunga Makabu in a new category.

Beterbiev’s reputation as one of boxing’s most ferocious fighters, on the other hand, makes him an excellent opponent for Canelo to face.

Canelo had already knocked out Sergey Kovalev in the light-heavyweight division.

Canelo is keen on making the fight happen, according to Top Rank’s Bob Arum, who promotes Beterbiev: “I’m sure he would.

“He has shown an interest in me.”

“Some may argue that Beterbiev is excessively large and powerful. Others will argue that Canelo is unique and capable of handling any situation.

“It’s one of boxing’s biggest fights.”
