Chris Eubank Jr. admits the news of his fight postponement was surreal,’ but the middleweight contender hopes to return to the ring later this month.

On Saturday morning, Eubank Jr was informed that his replacement opponent, Anatoli Muratov, had not been cleared to fight to owe to medical reasons and that the fight would have to be cancelled.

The 32-year-old was scheduled to play Sven Elbir, who tested positive for Covid-19, and Eubank Jr expressed shock at the abrupt postponement.

“It’s critical that I fight this month because a big name or a world title battle awaits me in December.”
