Boxing: Frazer Clarke claims Anthony Joshua, a fellow British heavyweight, has made improvements that will help him reclaim his world belts in a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua, the two-time world champion, was defeated by Usyk by unanimous decision in September of last year, but a rematch for the WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles is expected later this summer.

The most noticeable change in Joshua’s camp appears to be Angel Fernandez’s ascension from coach to head trainer, replacing Rob McCracken, who had overseen Joshua since his amateur days.

Clarke, who is also trained by Fernandez, believes his stablemate will present Usyk with a fresh challenge this time around.

“I think the loss has made him better,” Clarke told Sky Sports News. “He’s opened his eyes a bit.
