Boxing: Teofimo Lopez claims the victory over Pedro Campa over Vasyl Lomachenko was only “50%” of the victory

Boxing: Teofimo Lopez indicates the reaction he expects to elicit with a statement performance against Pedro Campa in Las Vegas this Saturday by dropping his jaw and briefly widening his eyes.

Following a disappointing loss to George Kambosos Jr. in November that saw the Australian take the WBA (Super), IBF, and WBO championships that he would later forfeit to Devin Haney in June, “The Takeover” is looking to establish himself among the world’s title-hunting super-lightweights.

Prior to that, Lopez had established himself as one of the best at 135 pounds with a decisive second-round knockout of Richard Commey and a unanimous decision victory over Vasyl Lomachenko of Ukraine.

His return to the ring beckons in a way that suggests, “Remember me?”
