Boxing: In preparation for their highly anticipated heavyweight rematch, Oleksandr Usyk is prepared for Anthony Joshua’s “muscles” and “mindset,” according to the Ukrainian’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk.
Last September, the Ukrainian superstar overcame Joshua by unanimous decision to win the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight crowns. On Saturday, they will once again square off.
As he visits the Saudi Arabian arena where he defeated Andy Ruiz Jr. in a rematch, Joshua insisted during a press workout that he has learned from his second professional defeat.
Usyk’s promoter, Krassyuk, though, stated to Sky Sports: “He will do anything possible, whatever he has, his muscle, his abilities, his thinking, and his enthusiasm, he will throw everything in the ring. However, Usyk is ready.
“It is not a secret to him, he will do what his corner tells him to do, he will just play his game smart, quick, footwork, tactics, that is Usyk and that is why we love him.
“He is coming as a regaining, defending champion and his objective is not just to win this fight but to become a man of history. He wants to be the undisputed champion in two divisions, he wants to be the first-ever man in heavyweight boxing who collects all four belts including WBO.
