The sports department of the British radio and television BBC declared the captain of the leading Liverpool Jordan Henderson the best player of the English championship in the 2019/20 season.
Liverpool had a 25-point advantage over second-placed Manchester City at the time of the break.

Henderson won the title by 23 percent of the votes of fans who took part in the BBC poll. Second place went to his teammate Sadio Mane with 17 percent of the vote. Kevin de Bruyne of Manchester City is third with 14 percent of the vote.
