New York Knicks 118 – 104 Memphis Grizzlies
Derrick Rose scored a season-high 25 points to lead the New York Knicks to a 118-104 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Julius Randle top-scored for the Knicks with 28 points. This was the New York Knicks’ 12th win in 13 games, a streak that started with a win over the Memphis Grizzlies last month. The Knicks are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
RJ Barrett added 15, Reggie Bullock chipped in 13 and Elfrid Payton had 10 for the Knicks, who shot 50.6 percent from the floor and hit 14 of 27 3-point tries (51.9 percent). Dillion Brooks top scored 25 points for the Grizzlies while Bane scored 22 points.
Denver Nuggets 89 – 93 Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles found their form once again and ground a 93-89 victory over the Denver Nuggets. This was just their second win in the last eight games while also ending a three-game losing streak. The Lakers were without LeBron James and Dennis Schroder.
Anthony Joshua led the charge for the Lakers with 25 points including seven rebounds and three blocks. The Lakers moved up to fifth place in the Western Conference, just a half-game ahead of the Dallas Mavericks. The loss ended Denver’s five-game winning streak, as the Nuggets (43-22) dropped back into a tie with the Los Angeles Clippers for the No. 3 seed in the West.
Philadelphia 76ers 106 – 94 Chicago Bulls
Tobias Harris starred for the Philadelphia 76ers in a 106-94 victory over the Chicago Bulls. He scored 21 points and narrowly missed out on a double-double finishing with nine rebounds. They now lead the Eastern Conference by one game.
Seth Curry helped the 76ers cause with 20 points while Ben Simmons scored 15 points to go with his six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Coby White recorded 23 points and five assists for the Bulls (26-39), who have lost four straight games and five of six. Thaddeus Young tallied 13 points, Daniel Theis and Denzel Valentine added 11 apiece and Tomas Satoransky scored 10 for Chicago.
