Basketball Court: The Phoenix Suns pulled away from the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, with Devin Booker leading the way with 24 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.

Booker played 32 minutes and went 8 of 16 from the field as he continues to distance himself from a hamstring ailment that cost him seven games. That follows his return to the floor on Sunday when he played 26 minutes in another rout of Charlotte.

The Suns won their fourth straight game thanks to Deandre Ayton’s 19 points and 11 rebounds, as well as Mikal Bridges’ 14 points.

Coach Frank Vogel remained in health and safety protocols for the second consecutive game as the Lakers lost their third game in a row. LeBron James scored 34 points for the Lakers, who lost their third game in a row. Four other Lakers players, including starting guard Avery Bradley, are undergoing testing.

The Lakers, who were without ace Anthony Davis for the second straight game, were led by Russell Westbrook, who had 22 points and 10 rebounds. Davis’ left knee MCL sprain will keep him out for at least four weeks.

Walker was out of the rotation entirely, but the team started a second consecutive game with six players on the shelf due to health and safety concerns, and Derrick Rose out again due to ankle pain. Walker pulled down eight rebounds and dished out five assists.

The Pistons, who had lost 14 in a straight before upsetting Miami on Sunday, were led by Saben Lee, who scored 16 points.
