Basketball Court: The Utah Jazz beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 109-108 on Sunday, thanks to Donovan Mitchell’s 35 points, Rudy Gobert’s 20 rebounds, and five blocks, and Rudy Gobert’s 20 rebounds and five blocks.

Utah, which made 20 3-pointers and surrendered a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter, was led by Bojan Bogdanovic (16 points) and Rudy Gay (15 points).

The Cavs had a chance to win, but Darius Garland missed a 28-footer with 2.9 seconds left, and Jarrett Allen’s tip failed to fall, ending Cleveland’s four-game winning streak.

Siakam leads the Raptors to a victory over the Wizards

Toronto trounced Washington on Sunday night, with Pascal Siakam scoring 31 points and Precious Achiuwa adding 10 points and 14 rebounds.

The Raptors won back-to-back games for the first time since a five-game winning streak from October 27 to November 3 thanks to 14 points from Chris Boucher, 11 points from Scottie Barnes, and 10 points from Fred VanVleet.

For the Wizards, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a season-high 26 points and Bradley Beal had 14, but they couldn’t get out of their first-quarter funk.

The Rockets won their 6th game in a row, defeating the Pels

Houston defeated New Orleans for the sixth time in a row, with Eric Gordon and Christian Wood each scoring 23 points.

Brandon Ingram set a season-best with 40 points for the Pelicans, his highest total since November 4, 2019, when he scored 40 against Brooklyn. New Orleans’ Jonas Valanciunas concluded with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
