Solskjaer Thinks Manchester United on the Same Level as Chicago Bulls

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has compared to the Chicago Bulls to his own Manchester United.

Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls side of the 90s, which is currently the focus of a Netflix documentary series- The Last Dance. Among those who have watched the show about influential NBA side on Netflix is Red Devils leader Solskjaer.

“I don’t think that I’m isolated from anyone else. You watch the television, you watch the series, you have to turn off football. You find Netflix, you discover Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance!” Solskjaer told Football Focus.

As a 1999 Treble champion, Solskjaer has been part of that group suggesting to see parallels between a team led by Jordan and one that searched for motivation to the likes of Roy Keane and David Beckham:

“It brings me back to when I was a player with Sir Alex and the great squad. Michael Jordan, considers Roy Keane, as a dictator, automatically. I see so many comparisons with my team.

“It was fun and a fantastic to watch.”

United, as the Bulls, are seeking to recapture the glories of the past. In a stressful moment for those involved after the Covid-19 pandemic, Solskjaer talks about his experiences: “You don’t put anything on pause.”

“You just consider sport, it never ends because whether you’re in the work or not in the position, whether you’ve been hit by the football bug, you ’re going to waste time on it all the time.”

Since first being broadcast, ‘The Last Dance’ has won lots of plaudits, with the legendary Bulls side displaying the determination required to become a dominant power.
