Recently, Ronaldinho, along with his brother Assis, was arrested in Paraguay for a false passport of that country and spent 32 days in custody.
“I never thought I’d end up in jail. Prison is not for me”, Ronaldinho told ABC Paraguay Television. Ronaldinho, who finished his career in January 2018, was in despair when he thought about going to prison.
After being granted liberty to defend himself, he moved to a luxury hotel in Asuncion: “It was not easy for me when I was told I had to go to jail. Now it’s something easier because I am under house arrest and awaiting trial. I hope this is all over soon,” Ronaldinho said to ABC Paraguay Television.
