According to A Bola, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have made a conditional bid of £19 m to Brazilian International Alex Telles.
Since coming from the Turkish Galatasaray giants in 2016, Telles has scored 21 times in 183 outings in all Porto competitions. He has recorded eight goals and five assists in Portugal’s top flight this season.
Porto’s versatile defender, capable of playing on the left side of the defence or in the centre, is out of contract with Porto at the end of the 2021-22 season. As a result, PSG is said to have made an opening offer of £19 m for Telles. The Portuguese outfit is said to be willing to cash in on the 27-year-old rather than see Telles leave for free when his contract runs out next summer.
Chelsea was believed to be another possible destination for the left-back. However, PSG is said to be the favorite to sign the defender. Moreover, Frank Lampard is said to have prioritized the signing of Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell after conceding the loss of the PSG in the Telles battle.
