Manchester United has put forward a proposal worth € 80 m to Napoli for the Senegal international, according to Sky Sport Italia this evening. The Partenopei, though, wants at least €100 m to let the centre-back go.
The defender is also a known transfer target for Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, with suggestions in this week’s French media he’d prefer PSG to either side of the Premier League.
Manchester United has so far been offering € 80 million for Kalidou Koulibaly, claims Sky Sport Italia, but Napoli is attempting to hold out for at least € 100 million.
Even € 100 million is a big drop from last year, when Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis announced that he had rejected a €120 million offer for Koulibaly.
This offer had originated from the Old Trafford side, and was as widely reported as this year’s offers by United and other.
