Mainz Suffers a Devastating Defeat against RB Leipzig Thanks to Triple Scorer Timo Werner


RB Leipzig beat Mainz with a devastating 5-0 in one of the final matches of the 27th round of the German Bundesliga.

Yussuf Poulsen scored a great goal in the 23rd minute and secured two assists. Marcel Sabitzer also scored once in the 36th minute.

The hero of the match, however, was the triple scorer Timo Werner, who scored goals in the 11th, 48th and 75th minute.

With three new goals, Werner reached the number of 24 goals this season in the Bundesliga. the league’s leading scorer with 27 is Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who is the only one ahead of Werner now.

With this crushing victory, RB Leipzig returned to third place in the standings.
