Lazio announced that when Serie A games resume, they will allow their fans to have a presence at Stadio Olimpico by placing their photos on seats.
The league has been locked down since March 10 but this week finally agreed on the medical protocol for group training.
It’s believed this should allow fixtures to start again from June 13-20, but due to the coronavirus pandemic they will naturally be behind closed doors.
“I can reveal that we are working on it, and the scheme will be fully operational next week. Later we’ll explain how fans can participate, as we’re making a website dedicated to this initiative,” Communications Director Stefano De Martino said.
He said about the gesture, “The team has been talking about offering Lazio supporters the chance to be there when the matches return.”
