Josep Guardiola, Manchester City’s current runner-up, could find himself in a 14-day self-isolation lockdown when he returns to the UK.
Guardiola is still in Spain where he travelled after his mother passed away from the coronavirus. Gabriel Jesus, Ederson Fernandinho, Rodri Bernardo Silva, and David Silva are also on the Island.
The managers of three other Premier League clubs are in the same situation, Nuno Espirito Santo of Wolverhampton Wanderers is in Portugal, Daniel Farke of Norwich City is in Germany and Ralph Hasenhuettl of Southampton is in Austria.
Guardiola and at least eight players will likely be required to observe isolation before joining the rest of the squad for training, according to British The Times.
