Former RB Salzburg player Oliver Kragl claims that his former club can easily bring in Cristiano Ronaldo, as reported by Goal.
Now a midfielder Serie B Benevento, Kragl played two seasons in Salzburg.
“They forced European champion Liverpool to do their best at Anfield and they remarried with Napoli. The club could, if it wanted to, buy Cristiano Ronaldo tomorrow. I think Salzburg would be competitive and in Germany,” Kragl said.
Ronaldo moved to Juventus for 117 million euros in the summer of 2018 from Real Madrid, and is currently worth 60 million euros due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic to the transfer market.
