Inter picked up ‘an important victory’ over SPAL on Thursday night, bringing back the Nerazzurri to second place in Serie A.
Wing-back Cristiano Biraghi talks about Inter’s success to DAZN (via Football Italia): “We’re second, that’s what happened, now we continue. We couldn’t get the outcome in the last match, this time we have achieved it and we have to start like this.”
During the run-in, Biraghi reported that ‘everyone was needed’ at Inter:
“We’re fit and that’s very necessary. The entire team needs to work intensely, they just need to.
“We figured we might take home the game if we took the lead.
“It was necessary because we knew that SPAL was battling, but meeting really aggressive teams is never easy.”
The 27-year-old himself scored the 2-0 goal and set the third goal for Alexis Sanchez and was happy to play.
